As the below schedule shows, we have many events planned for the week and the children are anxious for you to get to know why Resurrection is such a special place for all of us.

Catholic School Week Activities
Catholic Schools Week /Kickoff Mass(Sunday at 10 a.m.) We will kickoff Catholic Schools Week with a special Mass followed by Breakfast in the lower church hall.
Ice Cream Sundaes(Monday Lunchtime) Always a favorite of all our students! Ice Cream Sundaes at lunch! What a treat!
Pig Races(Monday afternoon) Mechanical Pig Races for Fall Fundraiser Top Selling Classes
Parent Visitation Day(Tuesday 9-11 a.m.) All current RES parents are invited to visit their child/ren’s classrooms to see first-hand the wonderful learnings that take place every day here at Resurrection! Parents are also invited to visit specials or any other classrooms you wish to see. We are so proud of what we have here and we want you to see as much as you can!
Faculty vs Student Games/Spirit Day(Wednesday: Montessori & K at 9 a.m. and 3rd Grade at 10 a.m. in the Grammar School Gym and 8th Grade at 1 p.m. in the Doty Gym) This is always a much-anticipated activity. Montessori & Kindergarten vs Teachers in beanbag toss. Third Grade vs the faculty in basketball and Eighth Grade vs the faculty in Volleyball. We wonder who will win this year!
The Brain ShowTM Assembly(Thursday: K-3 at 10:30-11:30 and Grades 4-8 at 12:30 - 1:30pm both shows will be held in the Doty Gym) The Brain Show is a team event similar to a game show where ALL KIDS AND FACULTY get the chance to participate. It is a mix of educational and pop cultural trivia with singing and dancing interspersed throughout. A fun time truly is had by all.
Catholic Schools Week /First Friday Mass(Friday at 9:00 a.m.) What better way to end the week than by thanking God for his abundant blessings together as a community!
Family Bingo(Friday at 6:30pm) Always a fun and exciting event for the entire family!
