  Monday: Grit Ninja - Grades K – 4
  This dynamic 6-week ninja program is designed to build strength, agility, and confidence through a series of exciting challenges. Each week, participants will focus on mastering a new skill, with obstacles rotating regularly to keep things fresh and engaging. You'll encounter thrilling obstacles like the warped wall, grip gauntlet, cliffhanger, balance courses, and a conditioning station to improve endurance and overall fitness. As you progress, you'll develop the skills needed to tackle each obstacle with confidence and power. The curriculum is designed by professional ninja coaches, many of whom have competed on NBC's *American Ninja Warrior*. The program will
  culminate in an epic ninja competition, where you’ll have the chance to put all your hard-earned skills to the test in an exciting, high-energy finale! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced ninja, this program will challenge and inspire you every step of the way.

  Tuesday: Mad Science: Little Scientists Spring – Grades PreK4 & K Prep
  Join Mad Science for some engaging hands-on learning experiences. Each class is an interactive, age-appropriate exploration of a specific science topic. Every themed program is designed to captivate the curious nature of young children. Preschoolers enjoy engaging demonstrations, perform simple experiments and will discover how science can help us better understand the world around us! Some of the topics we'll include this semester are: Fluttering Birds, Butterflies, Wiggly World of Worms, Sea, Sand and Surf, Let’s Look Closely and Bugs!

  Tuesday: NSCF Chess - Grades K-2 
  Learn piece names, values and movements, the rules of chess and how to record their games. Once students have mastered these concepts, they learn how to select good moves, avoid common mistakes and unforced errors. They look at the role of pawns and examine different pawn structures. The course continues with introducing key tactics (pins, forks battering rams, and discovered attacks).

  Tuesday: Irish Dance Club-Erin Pender-Levine of Harney Pender Keady School of Irish Dance - Grades K-3 
  This class will be a great introduction to Irish Step Dancing. Children will be taught all basic steps and will be introduced to Irish music and culture. It is wonderful for coordination, strength, and footwork.

  Wednesday: NSCF Chess - Grades 3-5 
  Students who have already mastered the basics proceed to Level 2 classes. In this series, students will focus on three of the four criteria for evaluating positions: material, mobility and, especially, king safety. They further learn how to create and sustain a direct attack on the opponent’s king. Students will also study in detail one of the
  classic attacking games of all time.

  Wednesday: Mad Science: The NASA Academy of Future Space Explorers-Grades K-2
  From our earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system, join us on a quest for exploration! Comets, planets, stars and more are all waiting to be discovered. Learn about the four forces of flight and the challenges of space travel. Some of the weekly topics in this session include : Planets and Moons, Atmosphere and Beyond,
  Space Phenomena, Sun and Stars, Rocket Science parts 1 and 2, Space Travel, Space Technology, Living in Space

  Wednesday: Learn’ique: Slime Time – Grades PreK4 – 2
  Please join Learn'ique for six weeks of ooey-gooey, hands-on fun in "Slime-Time"......the ultimate sensory STEAM workshop! Designed for children Pre-K- 3rd grade, this exciting program will have your little scientists stretching, squishing, and experimenting with all kinds of slime.....the most perfect way to explore chemistry, textures, colors, and creativity! Each week, we’ll dive into a new "Slime-Time" theme, from glow-in-the-dark slime to fluffy cloud slime, magnetic slime, edible slime, and more! Kids will mix, measure, and discover how simple ingredients transform into amazing, stretchy creations while learning basic scientific concepts like chemical reactions,
  polymers, and viscosity—all in a playful, and engaging way of course. Along the way, we’ll also incorporate storytelling, problem-solving challenges, and fine motor skill activities to make the learning feel like endless play! Added bonus.....the children will get to take home their slimy creations each week to continue the fun.

  Thursday: Crayola: Artist's Passport - Grades K-2
  Embark on an around-the-world cultural adventure - explore far-off places and learn about the people who live there, from the Americas to Polynesia, from the cosmopolitan to the countryside. Experiment with Crayola products, while trying art techniques developed by local artists and artisans. Make different masterpieces each week such as drums, masks, canvases, prints, buses, and more! Bring the unique creations home and build a globally inspired art gallery.

  Thursday: Rye YMCA - Multi Sports – Grades PreK4 – 1
  A great way to introduce your child to a wide range of sports: basketball, soccer, tee-ball, football, kickball and floor hockey. Classes consist of developmentally appropriate drills, obstacles and games in a fun engaging environment!
